Military Aircraft Upgrade

Lahav has comprehensive, in-house military aircraft capabilities and performs aircraft overhaul, refurbishment, retrofit, maintenance, and repairs.
Examples of Lahav`s accomplishments in the field include avionics systems retrofit, reconfiguration, re-engining, and structural improvement of military aircraft, helicopters, and trainers, as well as the conversion of civil transport aircraft to various military electronic, reconnaissance, and refueling configurations.

Lahav`s upgrade packages include advanced proven avionics subsystems, efficiently integrated to provide the most effective overall performance. Lahav has developed, in-house, many systems to support the mission performance of the upgraded aircraft, such as Avionics subsystems, Digital Moving Map, Virtual Training System, Simulators, and Mission Planning and Debriefing Systems

F-16

Close collaboration between Israeli defense industries, the cooperation of Lockheed Martin the F-16 original manufacturer and the assistance of the Israeli Ministries of Defense and Finance enabled the F-16 ACE Program to be realized.

Kfir Upgrade

The Kfir ("Young Lion") multi-role combat aircraft was designed and built by Lahav to provide the Israel Air Force (IAF) with an indigenously produced replacement for the Mirage aircraft that had constituted the backbone of its fighter force from the early 1960s. The requirements for the Kfir were based on the vast operational experience amassed by the IAF in numerous air-to-air encounters with Soviet designed aircraft.

C-130

The centralized, open architecture approach used for the C-130 avionics system is based on using a single operational software program, which is the only software requiring update for the integration of new systems. This approach provides the flexibility to use Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) elements and enables the tailoring of the avionics package to meet the customer's exact requirements.

F-4 Super Phantom

Lahav upgraded the F-4 aircraft to the Super Phantom configuration for the Israel Air Force.

Lahav has successfully performed major F-5 upgrade programs for air forces around the world, providing these F-5 aircraft with new and advanced capabilities.

Mig-21

Lahav has performed MiG-21 upgrade programs for customers around the world to provide the veteran MiG-21 fighter aircraft with new capabilities and enhanced mission performance.
